A brief word about the Real Estate Industry and its history

It is quite literally true to say that buying and selling Real Estate is brutal. The world of Real Estate has been around since man first staked out his ground around his cave. As time went by and technology advanced, exploration of the surrounding environment began. From there countless claims of territory began. Population increased and people started mapping out the world. As explorers came to the new world the vast expanse of the continent of the good old U.S.A. was boundless. There became a need for record keeping and a way to keep track of huge sections of land. Surveyors did there part making their mark in the history and development of the country.

Many lives were lost in the exploration and surveying of the continent. As the expansion moved westward large tracks of land were established and developed. Buying and selling of large amounts of acreage have been the main stay of development of the country. With more population growth land became more valuable from the simple concepts of supply and demand. More and more land became subdivided with the acreage being split out in huge amounts

Now in our modern age, with populations of the world in the billions and the population of the United States reaching 300 million. The value of land has increase 1000 fold in comparison to the price per acre. Structures on the land being build with concrete and steal. Skyscrapers reaching to the heavens. Commercial developments and residential home construction playing a vital role in the economy of the country.

The Real Estate industry was born from the need of record keeping being English real-estate law that was imported, through colonization, into the earlier forms of law in the U.S.A., Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Many of these states, or their territories, have since modified this historical law, to varying degrees. A study of the old feudal land system of England provides us with an invaluable glimpse of legal history regulating the most valuable asset of them all: land. In medieval times, land was the sole form of wealth.

Many dislike Realtors®  because of misinformation and not knowing the importance of using a professional in adding them in a Real Estate transaction. Some do their home work and come out ok but still loose value from not being aware of many issues concerning the transaction. So remember using a Real Estate Professional is the best way to proceed when considering a Real Estate deal.

Realtor Insight from the Public
Did your Agent add as much information as possible in your listing?
I have seen so many listings in the MLS that are hurried and incomplete. Having as much information as possible in the listing information is very important. Does it not make sense to have as much information as possible for potetential buyers and buyers reps that view the listing?
